Amazon Expands Payment Options

| | Comments (4)
Amazon has expanded its payment options for affiliates so that you can set a higher payment threshold. This is probably of particular interest to international affiliates that may have to deal with high bank charges. To update your preferences simply login to your Amazon account and update your payment threshold. It's a pity that Google don't do something similar!

What do you mean by "higher payment threshold"? Why is it of interest?

The minimum payout by cheque is quite low, so you could get hit for hefty bank charges. If you up the payment limit to say 300 sterling it won't hurt as much.

Adsense, on the other hand, allows you to put payments on hold but has no option to allow you to set the payment limit ie. you have manually release your funds

Is this on both the .com and .co.uk site?

It's on all of the sites :)

They only seem to have announced it on the US one though, so I checked the others and found that it had been enabled on all of them
